|Our local schools are facing many challenges these days, including budgetary issues, changes in evaluation methods and curricula as well as the continuing need for parental involvement.
On Monday, October 14, local school administrators will discuss ways of meeting these challenges, and ensuring a high quality education for students. Our guest speakers will be Manatee County Deputy Superintendent for Instruction Dr. Diana Greene, and Dr. Bill Jones, Principal of Manatee School for the Arts charter school. After their presentations, there will be questions and discussion with the audience.
This free public program, sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Manatee County, will take place from 12 noon to 1:00 pm, at the Bradenton Woman’s Club, 1705 Manatee Ave West, Bradenton. Doors will open at 11:30 am for refreshments and social time.
