|Tampa, FL – October 3, 2013 – Founder of Powerstories Theatre and National Award Winner, Fran Powers will be helping adults to seek, speak and celebrate their personal stories in a new Power of Story Workshop series beginning October 29, 2014 at the new Powerstories Studio at 2105 W. Kennedy Blvd.
Since 2000, Fran Powers has devoted her life to the development of an innovative theatre company featuring true stories. She has taught over 10,000 people within 60 organizations through workshops or performing the value of using story! These workshops however have not been offered in the Tampa Bay area due to the development of a girl’s theatre program. After Fran recently taught the course to a group at Moffitt Cancer Institute, she realized the community needed these workshops. One participated writes “ I am truly blessed and humbled by this experience! What rich, powerful voices we are! How exciting to bring this forth to patients, caregivers and staff!”
