The Rotary Club of Spring Hill Central presents Barktoberfest on Saturday, October 19th from noon- 4:00p.m. Barktoberfest will be held at the Rotary Centennial Park (Hernando’s only park that allows dogs) located at 10375 Sandlor Street in Spring Hill. Sponsors include the Black Rock Construction, Tampa Bay Times, and Flagstone Pavers.
Barktoberfest features a talent contest for dogs at 1pm, Dog Trivia Games at 1:30pm and 2:30pm, Cutest/Ugliest dog contest at 2pm and a Doggie Costume contest at 3pm. There is a $2 entry fee per dog, per contest.
Vendors will be on-hand selling pet friendly items and hot ‘dogs’ and drinks, including beer and wine, will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the event will go to the Rotary Foundation of Spring Hill Central which supports the dog park and other local charities.
