Natural & specialty foods store brings national vendors to Sarasota
(Sarasota, FL) Richard’s Foodporium was seeking additional ways to thank its customers for its upcoming anniversary of 35 years of business and decided on a unique large scale event. The 1st Annual Richard’s Customer Appreciation Expo is to be held at the Robart’s Sports Arena in Sarasota, FL on November 16th, 2013 between 10:00am and 5:00pm. The expo will have over 60 booths filled with national vendors, like-minded local businesses, and non-profit organizations. All Faith’s Food Bank is a key sponsor of the expo and Richard’s is encouraging attendees to bring non-perishable food donations. The entire event is family friendly and is free to the public. The kids “discovery” area features a trail mix station, games & toys, and reading sessions from Children’s Author Danielle Palli. A lecture series will run throughout the day with nationally recognized speakers, and live demonstrations of Tai Chi, Yoga, Hula-Hooping and Aikido will be provided. Proprietor John Rorer expresses, “We’re very excited to be able to provide the opportunity for consumers to meet directly with supplier reps, sample products, ask questions, attend seminars and be exposed to local, like-minded businesses and charitable organizations. This will be an annual event, growing each year, and involving increasing numbers of suppliers, local businesses, charitable organizations and educational opportunities free to the public.”
