|Renaissance On 9th, 1816 9th Street West in Bradenton, will be transformed into a jazz cabaret on Saturday, Nov. 16thfrom 6:00 to 10:00 pm and Sunday, November 17th from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 pm.The Linda Baker Band (Eddie Tobin on piano, Mark Gould on bass, Linda Baker vocals), Koko Ray and The Soul Providers, Billie Marcus and The State College of Florida Jazz Ensemble are among the many jazz celebrities who will perform at Jazz Express to benefit Meals on Wheels PLUS and the Food Bank of Manatee.
Ticket sales are now open to the public. Tickets for Saturday night are $60 and include great jazz, a New Orleans-style dinner and drinks. Sunday general admission is $20 and food and drink will be available for purchase. A VIP ticket is available for $100 which includes Saturday and Sunday admission and food and drink for both days.
Volunteer Jazz Committee chairman Jeff Orenstein said, “This is a fabulous opportunity to hear some great jazz, enjoy some great New Orleans style food and support a very worthy cause at the same time. We’re counting on jazz fans and supporters of Meals on Wheels PLUS to turn out and make this a roaring success.”
