Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough Counties, Florida – (September 24, 2013) The Medical Center of Trinity announces that it is collaborating with the Florida Department of Elder Affairs SHINE program (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) to provide ‘Medicare 101’, a series of Medicare information presentations at Medical Center of Trinity, 9330 State Road 54, Trinity, Florida 34655. The first free seminar will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 5:30 pm – 7 pm.
The seminar will help those who attend understand:
· Medicare Eligibility
· New Legislation (The Affordable Care Act)
· Medicare Supplemental Insurance (Medigap)
· Medicare Advantage Plans
· Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage and Extra Help
· Medicaid and Medicare Savings Programs
The program will be presented by a specially trained SHINE volunteer from the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and the Pasco-Pinellas Area Agency on Aging, Inc.
Due to limited seating, reservations are required and can be made by calling 727-834-5630.
