Cardholders Can Win Shopping Spree in Merchandise Warehouse
St. Petersburg, FL (September 18, 2013) – PSCU and loyalty program provider, Hinda Incentives, have teamed to sponsor a special sweepstakes event that will reward 10 lucky credit union members with a “grab-all-you-can” shopping cart dash through Hinda’s rewards redemption merchandise warehouse.
The Credit Union Magic MinuteTM, is open to all PSCU Member-Owner Credit Unions that participate in the company’s CURewards® loyalty programs. There is no cost for credit unions to enroll. Members of enrolled credit unions must register their contact information on PSCU’s CURewards website and use their credit or debit cards in at least two purchases in any of the weeks between September 1 and October 30 to have their names entered into eight weekly drawings that begin September 23.

Each of the 10 credit union members selected in the drawings will win an all-expense-paid trip for two to Chicago and the opportunity on December 5, 2013 to load as much merchandise from the warehouse’s shelves as they can into a shopping cart in just 60 seconds. In addition, a representative from each of the 10 winning credit unions will accompany their member on the trip.
The Hinda warehouse contains most of the items that CURewards cardholders can redeem with the rewards points they accumulate through card usage or through their other credit union account relationships. Sweepstakes winners will have the opportunity to visit the warehouse the day before the event to survey the aisles and plan their “shopping” strategy to pick from an enormous selection of consumer electronics and home goods. The average value of the items that previous sweepstakes winners have been able to load in their carts in one minute is about $8,000.
The sweepstakes benefits participating credit unions through increased membership, higher card activation and usage rates and the gathering of cardholder email addresses for use in future targeted marketing campaigns.
