New owner plans to renovate and rename 223,547-square-foot office property
TAMPA, Fla. (September 17, 2013) – Lakeside Technology Center has sold for $4.7 million to Tampa International Business Center, LLC, with the new owner intending to revive the office space.
John Gerlach, CCIM, Managing Director of Investment Services, and Mackenzie Gerlach, Associate of Investment Services for Colliers International Tampa Bay, represented the seller, CGCMT 2004-C1 North Hoover, LLC.
Colliers International created a marketing plan that involved partnering with auction.com to sell the five-building, 223,547-square-foot property.
“The investor was in the market for a well-located property with potential upside, which Lakeside provided,” said Mackenzie Gerlach. “The private equity group plans on putting substantial capital into the property to help improve occupancy, as well as changing the name to the Tampa International Business Center.”
The office property is located at 5730 Hoover Boulevard in Tampa.
