TAMPA, Fla.—Patrons of Tampa’s Channel District will now have added value when visiting restaurants and other businesses at Channelside Bay Plaza. From September 13 through January 2, 2014, the Tampa Port Authority will offer patrons of the plaza free parking at its surface lot on Garrison Street, adjacent to the plaza.
The free parking will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with the exception of evenings designated as event nights. Overnight parking will continue to be prohibited. Citizens and visitors are encouraged to visit Channelside and enjoy its retail shops and restaurants.
“It’s a new day at Channelside Bay Plaza, and we very much want to show our support to our partners and tenants of the complex, as well as provide visitors with added value to thank them for supporting the fine establishments at Channelside,” Paul Anderson, port president and CEO, said.
