|The first public input forum on the Downtown Waterfront Master Plan (“Plan”) is scheduled for Monday, September 9, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. The forum will be conducted in the University Student Center on USFSP’s beautiful, waterfront campus. A link for driving directions is included and a campus map is provided, showing the meeting location and parking garage.
Public engagement is essential to the success of the Plan. Public input forums will be conducted throughout the planning process to proactively ensure that citizen and stakeholder views, interests and opinions are included in the development of the Plan.
This initial public input forum will include a background and process presentation, group discussions and individual surveys. The information collected from the forum will be provided to the Urban Land Institute’s Advisory Service Panel (ULI ASP) members as their analysis begins. The ULI ASP will convene in downtown St. Petersburg the week of September 29, 2013.
If you are unable to attend, additional public input forums will be scheduled throughout the master plan process. Suggestions may be submitted at any time (written or e-mail) using the public comment form, LINK.
