Tampa— September 3, 2013 — The Small Business Development Center at USF will host the Business Start-Up Series for entrepreneurs, beginning September 17. Courses make up the critical foundation all entrepreneurs need to know before starting a business.
Taught by certified business analysts from the SBDC at USF, the series will take entrepreneurs through determining feasibility and legal structures, developing financial projections, obtaining a loan, accounting and bookkeeping processes, and attracting clients.
Course begins September 17 at the Port Authority building. The series fee is $185 and includes 17 hours of instruction, handouts and software. Registration required.
Courses are as follows:
Week 1 – Starting Your Business, 9/17/13 from 5:30-8 p.m.
Marketing Your Business, 9/19/13 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Week 2 – Financing Your Business in Today’s Economy, 9/24/13 from 5:30-8 p.m.
Building the Ultimate Business Plan, 9/26/13 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Week 3 – Basic Business Taxes, 10/1/13 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Basic Bookkeeping, 10/3/13 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
