Tampa, Fla., (August 30, 2013) – Fifth Third Bank (Tampa Bay) has hired Demitrius Pettaway as financial center manager and assistant vice president. He will oversee operations at the branch located at 2508 State Road 580 in Clearwater.
Prior to joining Fifth Third, Pettaway served as financial center manager and assistant vice president for Wells Fargo in Cape Coral. Previously, he served as a licensed financial specialist for Wachovia Bank in Tallahassee.

Pettaway has a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University. He is active in the local community as a member of the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce, the Clearwater Young Professionals and the Tampa Bay Black Chamber of Commerce. He lives in Tampa with his wife, Kari.
