The Hillsborough County Public Utilities Department has scheduled a workshop on Aug. 29 to consider proposed revisions to the Water, Wastewater and Reclaimed Water Technical Manual For Subdivision And Site Development Projects, and the Water, Wastewater And Reclaimed Water Technical Specifications.
The workshop is open to the public; comments are welcomed and encouraged. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the Brandon Support Operations Complex, 332 N. Falkenburg Road, 1st floor training room.
The Technical Manual contains procedures for designing and submitting construction plans for drinking water, wastewater and reclaimed water service for proposed commercial and subdivision projects in unincorporated Hillsborough County. The manual is written in specific, concise technical language, and is a compilation of existing regulations, policy statements and engineering requirements. The Technical Specifications document is a companion resource that includes standards for design and construction.
