Tampa, Fla. – August 21, 2013 – Carlton Fields’ Tampa Associate, Rebecca N. Shwayri, was appointed co-chair of the International Association of Privacy Professionals’ (IAPP) Central Florida KnowledgeNet. Shwayri splits this role with two others and will serve a two-year term, ending December 2015.
As co-chair, Shwayri will assist the IAPP’s Central Florida chapter in the overall development and execution of its KnowledgeNet events. These events are invitation only and feature a speaker or panel discussing privacy-related topics of interest to its members.
