|Many people who are gluten sensitive avoid going out to eat due to the limited number of Gluten Free menu items available at most restaurants. According to Wikipedia a gluten-free diet is a diet that excludes the protein gluten. Gluten is found in grains such as wheat, barley, rye and triticale (a cross between wheat and rye). Being gluten intolerant can often mean a person may also be wheat intolerant. There are a smaller minority of people who suffer from wheat intolerance alone but are tolerant to gluten.
