|Popular Bar Location to Open Each Thursday During the Off-Season
Bradenton, Fla. – The Bradenton Marauders host the Jupiter Hammerheads for a three-game series beginning on Tuesday, August 20. Each game from August 20-22 will begin at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. The Marauders also have announced the off-season schedule for happy hour at the Kona Bar built by NDC Construction.
The home stand begins with the final First Mates Kids Club night on Tuesday, August 20. Fans can also get two-for-one tickets by redeeming the coupon from Sunday’s Bradenton Herald. Baseball Bingo presented by Jersey Mike’s Subs and Precision Litho Service will be played during the game. Children 13 and younger can run the bases postgame in the Kids Fun Run presented by Mosaic.
The series against the Hammerheads continues on Wednesday, August 21, with a Buy Out Night presented by Bank of America. Vouchers redeemable for free grandstand or outfield tickets on can be printed from the Marauders’ website, www.BradentonMarauders.com. Fans also have the option of displaying the voucher on their smart phone at the McKechnie Field ticket office. Fans can upgrade their free grandstand or outfield tickets to infield seats at a cost of $2 per upgrade while supplies last. A food drive benefitting the Food Bank of Manatee will be held at the gates. Each fan who donates five or more canned foods will receive a free fountain drink in a souvenir cup.
The series concludes with a Thirsty Thursday presented by Budweiser on August 22. Sodas and select draft beers cost just $1. The Kona Bar built by NDC Construction will remain open after the game with a D.J. for musical entertainment.
Beginning Thursday, September 5, the Kona Bar built by NDC Construction will open each Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. Ladies will drink free from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Members of the Thirsty Thursday Club this season will be able to purchase $1 select draft beers and enjoy other specials through February 2014 by presenting their Thirsty Thursday Club Membership Card. The Kona Bar will continue to open on Thursday non-game days during Spring Training 2014 and the 2014 Bradenton Marauders season. Weekly entertainment, including live music, trivia, and karaoke will be scheduled on a week-to-week basis.
