SARASOTA, Fla. (August 19, 2013) – Brothers Dan and Rob Snyder are hosting a comedy event on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. (6:45 p.m. arrival for seating) at McCurdy’s Comedy Theatre to raise funds for the Patricia Snyder Children’s Fund at Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation, Inc. Patricia Snyder was the founder of Sarasota Memorial Hospital’s Kids Under the Weather childcare program and the head nurse of the hospital’s adolescent wing. Following her death on August 14, 1997, her sons and the Foundation established this fund in her memory.
“Our mother was a passionate advocate for children, and we wanted to create this fund so that her commitment to children would live on,” says Dan Snyder.
The headliner for the event will be comedian Michael Mack who has appeared on ABC’s “The Next Best Thing” and “America’s Funniest People”. His songs and standup have been heard on radio stations across the country including “The Bob and Tom Show” and on XM Radio. His use of music, light, impressions and parodies create a show that begins with fun and ends with amazement.
Tickets are $15 per person and are available by calling Dan Snyder at (941) 650-3216.
