Fort Lauderdale, FL ¬– August 16, 2013¬ – Moss & Associates announced today that it has agreed to acquire the ongoing operations of Peter R. Brown Construction, the construction management at-risk business of Atkins, one of the world’s leading design, engineering and project management consultancies.
“This agreement expands the depth of our relationships throughout the Southeast United States and deepens our experience in a number of vertical markets, including public sector work,” said CEO Bob Moss. “Peter R. Brown Construction has been in business 50 years and specializes in higher education, public sector and criminal justice projects.”
The agreement includes three of Peter Brown’s Southeastern offices: the Tampa/Clearwater and Tallahassee offices in Florida, and the Atlanta office. Moving forward, Peter Brown will pursue and carry out all new construction projects through Moss Construction d/b/a Peter Brown Construction.
