MIAMI – Aug. 22, 2013– Macy’s Westshore Plaza has completed a renovation to provide a superior shopping experience for its shoppers with expanded merchandise assortments throughout the store.
The reconfigured first floor includes cosmetics, jewelry, handbags, men’s apparel and the newly expanded men’s shoe department, which is approximately double its previous size. New cosmetic brands now available at Macy’s Westshore include: MAC, Bare Escentuals, Smashbox, Too Faced, Philosophy and StriVectin. On the second floor, women’s fashion assortments in customer favorites like INC have been deepened, and new IMPULSE brands added including: Else, Sanctuary, Miss Me, Splendid, RACHEL Rachel Roy Party and QMack. Also on this floor, the women’s shoe department has been expanded to offer more space for Impulse brand footwear: BCBG, Carlos by Carlos Santana, INC, RACHEL Rachael Roy, GUESS?, Lucky Brand and Vince Camuto.
Other updates throughout the store include new seating, lighting and paint in dressing rooms and new mannequins throughout the departments. Customers can also utilize Macy’s free personal shopping service called Macy’s By Appointment, which was recently added to the store.
The store will celebrate with a ribbon-cutting event on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 9:45 AM at the Mall entrance to the store that will include State Senator Arthenia Joyner, State Senator Jeff Brandes, U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor, City Councilman Harry Cohen, Miss Florida 2013 Myrrhanda Jones and other local dignitaries. The first 100 shoppers to enter the store through the Mall entrance at 10 AM will receive a $10 Gift Card.

Customers can purchase a $5 savings pass to receive special discounts and support the March of Dimes.

Florida 2013 Myrrhanda Jones and take a keepsake photo with her. Followed by a complimentary workout class in the store to “Get Fit with Miss Florida”
¨ 11AM – Meet Todd Kalas Tampa Bay Rays Broadcaster- First Floor – Join us in the
Men’s Department and meet the Tampa Bay Rays baseball broadcaster Todd Kalas. Plus, the first 40 customers to make an $85 or more Men’s Department purchase will receive (2) tickets to the Tampa Bay Rays game against the Texas Rangers on September 19.
