Wondering what to do on a summer mid-week evening? Join St. Petersburg Preservation for a relaxing downtown stroll, learn a bit of history and architecture, all followed by a chance at the end of the tour to cool down and continue the conversation while enjoying one of downtown’s fun spots. Those joining the tour will get a chance to see some of the best of downtown’s 1920’s boom era architecture, find out how a small town at the turn of the century created one of the largest waterfront parks in the country and hear stories about how sunshine, bathing beauties and sports were used to market St. Pete as a place to go!
The August tour will end at the Ale & Witch, the craft beer emporium with live music that has brought the Plaza courtyard across the street from Baywalk back to life.
All are welcome.
Tour is free for members, $5 suggested donation for others. Reservations welcome but not required: (727) 824-7802 or info@StPetePreservation.org.
