Tampa, Fla. – August 8, 2013 – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Sasha Funk Granai has joined the firm as an associate in its Tampa office. Granai practices in the firm’s Real Property Litigation practice group.
Granai has experience in complex commercial and transnational litigation. Her work has included representation of financial services companies in class actions, lender liability actions, foreclosures, FDCPA violations, deceptive trade claims, and other actions involving allegations of consumer fraud. She also has experience in partnership and real estate disputes.
Granai is a member of the Student Education and Admissions to the Bar Committee, which determines whether or not law schools are adequately preparing their students for the practice of law in Florida. Previously, she served as a voting member of The Florida Bar Grievance Committee on Lawyer Advertising. Prior to Carlton Fields Granai was a litigation associate at Berger Singerman LLP.
Granai received her B.A., with honors, from Florida State University. After working for eight years in legal marketing and administration, Granai received her J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida Frederic G. Levin College of Law.
