(August 6, 2013) – Gainesville advertising executive Tom Duffy, president of Ad Pros Advertising, Inc., joined the board of the Advertising Federation of Gainesville (AdFed) as public service chair for the 2013-2014 year. Duffy has over 20 years of experience in advertising and has played key roles in radio, television and new media ad agencies in Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and Gainesville.
As public service chair, Duffy will oversee a new partnership with The Center for Independent Living of North Central Florida, an organization that empowers people with disabilities by helping them exert their right to live as independently as possible.
“This appointment gives me an opportunity to focus my experience in media, project management and strategic planning to help Ad Fed,” said Duffy. “I am honored and excited to be part of the dynamic Ad Fed leadership team and to work alongside other advertising veterans to launch an important partnership.”
