SARASOTA, Fla., Aug. 7, 2013 – Critical Care & Veterinary Specialists of Sarasota LLC (CCVSS), is expanding its neurology practice with the addition of Dr. Christopher Levine, a board certified neurologist, to the staff of its emergency and specialty veterinary clinic.
Levine joined the practice on July 22, according to Dr. Anne Chauvet, a veterinary neurologist and neurosurgeon who founded Veterinary Neuro Services here in 2002 and CCVSS in 2010. Levine has completed a three-year neurology residency at the Veterinary Neurological Center in Phoenix, Ariz., and an internship in small animal internal medicine and surgery at the Oklahoma State University Center. He is a neurology diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
Levine’s primary interests include intracranial surgery, advanced MRI techniques, spinal cord blood flow, lysosomal storage diseases, lower motor neuron diseases, and abiotrophies.
