ST. PETERSBURG, FL (July 31, 2013) – St. Petersburg-based human resource outsourcing company Modern Business Associates (MBA) is pleased to announce its second annual school supply drive for the Academy Prep Center. Academy Prep is a private middle school that provides scholarships to students in need. This school has changed the lives of hundreds of economically disadvantaged children. School resources are limited and Academy
Prep relies on the generosity of the community to help achieve its mission.
For the second year in a row, MBA has set-up collection bins throughout the community and the items placed in them will be delivered to students and teachers at Academy Prep before school starts. Members of the community can help ensure this school is ready for a brand new academic year by donating supplies they need.

About Academy Prep
Academy Prep Center for Education offers middle school students and their families’ life-changing learning opportunities. Academy Prep is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It is an urban college preparatory middle school whose mission is to inspire and empower students qualifying for need-based scholarships to be future community leaders through a rigorous middle school program coupled with ongoing graduate support. Students attend tuition-free on full scholarships provided by the local community. Students attend Academy Prep up to 11 hours a day, six days a week, 11 months each year.
