– La Mesa RV Center, Inc. has recently leased the 120,000 +/- square foot former Sarasota-Bradenton International Convention Center, with almost 17 acres of land, from the Landlord; Oscar R. Parsons. Parsons had operated the building as a Convention/Conference/Trade Show Arena for almost 10 years. La Mesa, one of the largest RV Sales and Service Companies in the U.S. is based in San Diego, CA and has three other outlets in Florida. Peter Bartys of the Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group’s Sarasota office handled the Lease transaction.
– 26th Avenue West, LLC has purchased commercial property located at 109 & 305 26th Avenue West in Bradenton from the School Board of Manatee County, Florida for $550,000. This property consists of 22,000 +/- square feet of commercial buildings on 7.37 +/- acres of land. Mike Migone, CCIM with Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group handled the transaction.
– BAPOP Holdings, Inc. has purchased the 9,091 +/- square foot office building located at 6731 Professional Parkway West in Lakewood Ranch from 6731 Professional Parkway West, LLC for $1,300,000. Barry Seidel with American Property Group represented the Buyer and Diane Lawson, CCIM with Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group represented the Seller.
– BVK-Muirfield Village, LLC has recently closed on the purchase of 9 +/- acres of vacant multi-family land located on Honore Avenue, just south of University Parkway from Peach Willow, LLD for $980,000. Clint Conway and Mike Migone, CCIM both with Sperry Van Ness Commercial Advisory Group handled the transaction. Migone sold the land to Peach Willow in May of 2012 for $650,000.
