|July 30 Game Dedicated to Retiring Boys and Girls Club Executive Director Carl Weeks
Bradenton, Fla. – The Bradenton Marauders host the Dunedin Blue Jays in a four game series beginning on Monday, July 29 and running through Thursday, July 30. All four games start at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. The game on July 29 is a free ticket Buy Out Night.
Vouchers redeemable for free grandstand or outfield tickets on Monday, July 29, can be printed from the Marauders’ website, www.BradentonMarauders.com. Fans also have the option of displaying the voucher on their smart phone at the McKechnie Field ticket office. Fans can upgrade their free grandstand or outfield tickets to infield seats at a cost of $2 per upgrade while supplies last.
The game on July 29 will feature a country theme, including live country music post-game at the Kona Bar built by NDC Construction, located on the outfield boardwalk. There will be two in-game giveaways for two tickets and meet and greet passes to an upcoming show at Joyland. Brett Eldredge will be performing at Joyland on Saturday October 12. Tyler Farr comes to Bradenton on Saturday, November 30.
The Marauders will recognize Carl Weeks, who is retiring as Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Manatee County after 42 years of service to the organization, on Tuesday, July 30. For each ticket sold, $1 will be donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs’ Carl Weeks Great Futures Fund. Carl will throw out a ceremonial first pitch at the game and take part in activities during and after the game to celebrate his service.
Game three of the series is Wednesday, July 31, and the series concludes with a Thirsty Thursday presented by Budweiser on August 1. The Marauders host a Thirsty Thursday game on all five Thursdays in August. Sodas and select draft beers cost just $1 at Thursday games at McKechnie Field. After the game, the Kona Bar built by NDC Construction will stay open with a post-game DJ providing music.
The McKechnie Field ticket office is open on non-game days from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Monday-Friday and closed on weekend non-game days. On Monday-Saturday game days, the ticket office opens at 1:00 p.m. and closes at the conclusion of the game. On Sunday game days and special games with 10 a.m. start times, the ticket office opens two hours prior to the game.
