LIGHT SCUPLTURE AND DANCE COMING TO MOREAN ARTS CENTER
St. Petersburg, Fla. – FSU art student Chase Jones will present a collaborative art piece on July 26 at the Morean Arts Center in downtown St. Petersburg at 7PM.
The art piece, called The Sunrise Cube, is a small “room” with one wall distorting direct light. The performance includes light projection, dance, and music. Jones created the sculpture after spending one year watching the sunrise every day with over 200 different companions. He hopes to bring emphasis to the sunrise through this unique medium.
The event will show for one night.
