On Monday July 15, 2013, Computer Mentors Group (CMG) will host a Press Conference / Preview of the technology projects created through a summer technology camp. Featured will be the organizations very first phone app created for non-profit organization 100 Black Men of Tampa Bay. Also featured will be websites created for the Saturday Morning Breakfast Group, Porch Talk Radio on TV, a video created for the American Diabetes Association, and a flyer and brochure were created for the Tampa Bay chapter of the National Black Nurses Association.
This program, called the Summer STEM Corps High School Program was funded by the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County. The press conference will kick-off at 2:30pm with presentations from the youth about the products that they created. The youth will also be honored and awarded prizes for their efforts. The press conference will be held the CMG Computer lab located at 2802 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tampa.
Invited guests include our non-profit clients, parents, press, and community. Presentations will last about one (1) hour.

Computer Mentors Group, Inc. is a “digital divide” non-profit organization comprised of computer professionals, and others interested in the future job opportunities of disadvantaged youth. The group’s flagship program is the STEM Corps High School Program. Youths in the program earn industry standard certifications and then learn technology by completing technology projects for other non-profit organizations. The summer program was an extension of the regular STEM Corps High School Program.
