Southwest Florida – John Neal Homes (JNH) sold 29 homes from January through June in 2013, a more than 50 percent increase from 2012. The Lakewood Ranch based custom new home builder sold 17 homes during the same time period last year.
“In all of 2012, we sold close to $30 million in total sales revenue and already this year we are close to $22 million,” said Michael Rego, vice-president of building for John Neal Homes. “We are experiencing tremendous growth in the luxury custom home market. This is fueled by great market conditions and the tremendous value buyers receive from building with a custom home builder that has the purchasing power of a large production builder,” said Rego.
Rego joined John Neal Homes in January of 2013 and the company continued to grow its staff and grow into a new larger office space in the first half of the year. Two new employees came on board last quarter – Sales Assistant Ady Cerretta and Architectural Design Manager George Lamirata, bringing the JNH total number of staff to 21.
Also, this year the custom home builder opened the largest new model in Lakewood Ranch, in the Highfield section of the Country Club, the last new home section of thedesirable single family home community. In addition to sales in planned communities, John Neal Homes also experienced notable growth in its “on your lot” division during the first two quarters of 2013, building on customers’ privately owned homesites in Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
Later this year, John Neal Homes will break ground on three additional new home models in the following locations: Haddington in Country Club East at Lakewood Ranch,Landsdowne Crescent in University Park and at The Concession in Manatee County.
