Organizers issue call for sponsors and exhibitors
LARGO, Fla. – (July 3, 2013) – Tampa Bay Innovation Center, an innovation and entrepreneurship center for technology businesses, is joining with Florida Federal Contractors Association (FFCA) to present the 2013 Florida Defense & Technology Showcase (FDTS) Sept. 23-24 at Sheraton Sand Key Resort on Clearwater Beach.
The reverse trade show for subcontractors and defense industry contractors is hosted by Congressman C.W. Bill Young.
“We’re pleased to be presenting FDTS for the seventh year. It’s a great opportunity for regional subcontractors and suppliers to demonstrate their capabilities to national and multinational prime defense contractors,” says Tonya Elmore, president of Tampa Bay Innovation Center. “We encourage participants to enhance their visibility through sponsorships in addition to exhibiting at the event and attending.”
Noel McCormick, president of the Florida Federal Contractors Association and a local business owner, adds, “FDTS is important to supporting the industry in our region, especially in the current defense climate. Sponsors and exhibitors include some of the region’s largest employers as well as many small businesses, all committed to supporting the capability requirements of the Department of Defense as well as economic growth in our state.”
Sponsorships are available at five levels, including event sponsor, platinum sponsor, gold sponsor, silver sponsor and break sponsor. Information on sponsorship levels and reserving exhibit space is available by contacting Jen Suereth, 727-547-7340 or email@example.com.
