GAINESVILLE, Ga. and TAMPA, Fla. (June 18, 2013) — M3 Accounting + Analytics, the national leader in hotel-specific accounting software, operations reporting and business analytics, announces that Barry Wabler has joined its Customer Advisory Board.
The M3 Customer Advisory Board, created in January of this year, is comprised of hospitality industry leaders who help shape M3’s product development and market strategy. Board members provide insight on industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Members are chosen from M3’s customer base of more than 3,000 hotels and serve two-year terms. These owners, operators, and third-party managers use M3’s accounting, operations reporting, and analytics software products to streamline processes, reduce expenses, and improve data-based decision-making.
Barry Wabler is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Atlanta-based Davidson Hotels & Resorts. He oversees the accounting, information technology, and risk management areas, along with helping drive the strategic direction of the company.
Prior to Davidson, Barry was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hotel Equities Group, an Atlanta-based hotel management and development company that underwent significant growth during his tenure.
Barry is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs, Financial Executives Institute, American Institute of CPAs, and Cushman & Wakefield CFO Roundtable. He holds a BBA and a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Georgia and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
“On behalf of my Davidson colleagues and with great enthusiasm, I’m proud to join M3’s advisory board,” Wabler said. “One of my first memories in the hospitality business was working side-by-side with (M3 president) Allen Read to convert accounts to the AccKnowledge platform and build reports. From the outset, M3’s commitment to integrity and trust were evident to me, and remain recognizable cultural linchpins today.”
