Pasco/Pinellas/Hillsborough County, Florida – (June 11, 2013) Medical Center of Trinity announces that it will hold a special educational program entitled “Healthy Eating Every Day (HEED).” The program will meet one hour per week for 14 weeks beginning July 10, 2013 and ending October 9, 2013, every Wednesday morning at 9 am.
The mission of HEED is to help people improve their health and quality of life. This program is designed to help people improve the quality of their diets. This is a total dietary pattern approach to build cognitive and behavioral skills around healthy eating. All foods can be part of a healthy diet. HEED is based on current nutrition recommendations and helps people to learn to use lifestyle-management skills and develop and maintain healthy eating habits.
Classes are held at Medical Center of Trinity, 9330 State Road 54, Trinity, Florida 34655.
