Tampa, Fla. – June 10, 2013 – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Radha V. Bachman has joined the firm’s Tampa office as an associate. Bachman is a member of the firm’s Health Care practice, a group of more than 45 attorneys and government consultants firmwide with experience representing healthcare providers in litigation, appellate, transactional, compliance, and legislative matters.
In her practice Bachman represents health care clients on a variety of matters including provider operations; mergers and acquisitions; single specialty and multi-specialty physician group formation; negotiating and preparing hospital and health care provider contracts; and Medicare and Medicaid issues.
Bachman is board certified in Health Law by The Florida Bar, a distinction earned by less than one percent of all attorneys admitted to practice in Florida. She is also licensed as a Health Care Risk Manager in the state of Florida.
Prior to Carlton Fields, Bachman was an associate at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney.
She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the South Asian Bar Association of Florida and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
Bachman is conversant in Gujarati, the state language of Gujarat, India. She received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and her B.A., cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.
