|BRADENTON, FL – APRIL 3, 2013 – Blake Medical Center is proud to announce Alan Valdie, M.D. as the recipient of the 2013 Doctor of the Year award. Dr. Valadie has been an admired and respected member of the Blake Medical Center medical staff since 1996. Nominations were sent from patients, colleagues and hospital staff. They described Valadie as the epitome of an ideal doctor – caring, committed to his patients, dedicated to caring for the whole family and involved in his community.
Dr. Valadie received his medical degree from the University of Florida and completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the Carolinas Medical Center Department of Orthopaedic Surgery where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Valadie specializes in Orthopaedic Surgery and joined the Medical Staff at Blake Medical Center in 1996.
