A Live Music Event Featuring 10 Live Acts, Contests, Kids Zone, and More
WHAT: On Saturday, March 16th and Sunday, March 17th, Irish 31 Pub House & Eatery will host
PaddyFest, a two-day street festival at their location on W. Swann Ave. in Hyde Park. The
weekend includes live music, a Kids Zone, a $1,500 Cornhole Tournament, all-inclusive and VIP
access, as well as LED walls showing March Madness. On Saturday afternoon, there will be a
St. Paddy Look-Alike Contest judged by a panel that includes former Buccaneers fullback
Mike Alstott with the grand prize of a trip to Ireland.
Beginning at 3pm on Saturday, PaddyFest will feature live music all day leading up to U2
tribute band Mysterious Ways, back by popular demand, at 9pm. At 5:30pm, the winner of
the St. Paddy Look-Alike Contest will be presented with a prize trip to Ireland.
On Sunday, the celebration continues with a Cornhole Tournament at 12pm that includes a
bounty of $1,500 in cash prizes. The Kids Zone will provide fun for all ages from 12-4pm
including face painters, games, and balloon twisters. These activities all lead up to the
headlining entertainment that takes the stage at 5:15pm. Dubbed “not your father’s Celtic
band” Seven Nations has earned a reputation for musical adventure, blending the standard
lineup of drums, guitars, and bass with bagpipes to create their own unique sound.
