St. Petersburg, Fla. – March 7, 2013 – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that David R. Punzak, office managing shareholder of the firm’s St. Petersburg office, received the Roy G. Harrell, Jr. Leadership Award presented by the St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation on Thursday, February 28 at the Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park.
The Roy G. Harrell, Jr. Leadership Award recognizes an individual who demonstrates vision, initiative, motivation, selflessness, and commitment through outstanding community service and leadership benefitting the community. Punzak is the sixth recipient to receive this award since its inception in 2008.
In addition to his role at Carlton Fields, Punzak is a member of the firm’s Corporate, Securities and Tax and Real Estate and Finance practice groups. He maintains a diverse transactional practice and regularly represents clients in finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, leasing transactions, and general business matters.
In the community, Punzak is serving his second year as chair of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the Board of the Heroes of the St. Petersburg Police, Inc., he chairs the Development Review Commission for the City of St. Petersburg, and he serves as a Board Trustee of the Salvador Dali Museum.
