|Schofield will be teaching the practical, real life skills for people to successfully navigate life after age 50 at the Osprey Library on March 5 and 12, 2013 from 2pm-4pm. Both events are free and open to the public.
LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla., Feb. 27, 2013 – According to author George H. Schofield, PhD, people over 50 are facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities: getting older, living longer, redefining retirement, and navigating change in a chaotic world. Challenges include having enough money, working for many more years than planned, taking care of elderly parents, living with adult children, and creating a great life after 50.
According to Schofield, “Developing the Skills and Life Agility We’ll Need, After 50 It’s Up To Us” will give people over 50 the tools they need to create their best possible lives, reach their goals and dreams faster, enjoy great relationships, and get ready for the future, even when life doesn’t go according to plan.
Schofield has developed these live events based on his top-selling book “After 50 It’s Up To Us, Developing The Skills and Agility We’ll Need”. The book is based on Schofield’s experience and expertise in aging, psychology, lifelong learning, human development, and interviews with people ages 50 to 97.
Both events will be held at the Osprey Library at Historic Spanish Point, 337 N. Tamiami Tr., Osprey, FL 34229. Pre-registration is preferred.
