HOLIDAY, FLA. – Center Pointe Homes, based in Winter Haven, Fla., has selected John Heagney Public Relations to coordinate media relations and promotional strategies for its Hillsborough, Manatee and Pasco county communities opening in the near future.
With its first model home opening recently in Parrish, and another near completion at The Venetians in Ruskin, Center Pointe offers homes priced from the $140s including homesite. Its floor plans range from 1,305 to 2, 752 square feet of living space.
One of the newest Tampa Bay-area home builders, Center Pointe Homes was founded by owner and partner Harold Baxter, and company president Gregg Carlson. Baxter has been involved in all facets of home construction and land development in Florida for the past several decades, and has created numerous communities throughout the state. Carlson also has extensive home-building experience including 10 years with Sarasota luxury builder Lee Wetherington Homes. Most recently, he was regional president for Maronda Homes, which builds across the Tampa Bay area.
Center Pointe plans an aggressive expansion program that will add communities in Wesley Chapel, New Tampa as well as north and south Riverview by the end of the year. Moreover, its will expand into the executive-home market with pricing starting in the $300s.
