TAMPA, FL (January 2, 2013) Ovations Food Services, a nationally-ranked Tampa-based food service provider will bring together more than 125 of their general managers and senior level executives from their home office and from their convention centers, stadiums, arenas and casinos around North America to Tampa for the company’s 2013 National Meetings. The purpose of Ovations’ annual meeting, which runs from January 6th through January 9th, is to discuss industry leading trends. The Ovations team will be visiting client facilities in the area, including Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo, the David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts and Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo.
The purpose of visiting Ovations’ client facilities is to give back to local businesses and to demonstrate the service, ideas and expertise the food service company provides at its facilities. Ovations is hosting a trade show at The Lakeland Center with over 100 exhibitors in attendance, an action station-packed dinner at the Straz Center with over 170 guests and an awards ceremony at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo.
In addition, Ovations Food Services is giving back by making a donation to the Straz Center for the Performing Arts and Feeding America Tampa Bay.
On Tuesday, January 8th at 1 p.m. Ovations’ employees will be splitting into two teams of 60 members each at Feeding America Tampa Bay. Competing for which team can sort the most food based on weight, Ovations will donate $.25 cents per pound to Feeding America Tampa Bay on the winning teams behalf. Ovations’ General Managers will also learn the many ways their facilities can become involved with Feeding America locations throughout the country.
