Award is a Prestigious National Honor of Volunteer Service
Sarasota/Bradenton, FL. — Goodwill Manasota has awarded all twenty one of their board members with the PRESIDENT’S VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD. This award is a national honor, and is being bestowed in recognition of each person contributing more than 500 hours of service to our community in 2012.

THE PRESIDENT’S VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD was established in 2003, and Is available on an annual basis to individuals, groups, and families who have met or exceeded requirements for volunteer service, and have demonstrated exemplary citizenship through volunteering. The AWARD is issued by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation, which was specifically created to recognize the valuable contributions volunteers are making to our Nation.
