First Uncommon Knowledge event will help women transform their health, career and personal brand to achieve results they never thought possible
St. Petersburg, Fla. (Dec. 18, 2012) – Another new year, another set of the same old resolutions you make and break by February? Not this time. Common Language, a strategic consulting and communications firm in downtown St. Petersburg, introduced today its first workshop in a new series called Uncommon Knowledge that is designed to help women simply and sanely remove obstacles that get in the way of their success. Your Best Year Ever! will put attendees on the path to achieving optimal health, show them how to bring their “A Game” to work each day, and discover a simple, effective process for developing their own authentic personal brand.
“Every New Year we resolve to do something better, improve our health, or abolish bad habits that prevent us from realizing our greatest potential,” said Michelle Bauer, president and chief strategist of Common Language. “None of us wants 2013 to be another year of the same old resolutions with the same old results. This workshop will help women break through the mental, physical and emotional barriers that keep holding them back, but also have a great time and some wonderful laughs as well.”
The presenters include nationally renowned women’s health and wellness expert Carmella Sebastian, MD, MS; executive success strategist and author Susan Freeman, MBA, ACC, NCC and personal branding expert Michelle Bauer.
The workshop will take place Friday, January 18 from 8-11 a.m. at Rusty Pelican in Tampa. Visit http://yourbestyeareverworkshop.eventbrite.com for more information and to RSVP.
Carmella Sebastian, MD, known as “Dr. Carm,” will discuss the importance of nutrition, fitness and loving relationships to achieve optimal health. She’ll provide tips for making small changes and creating new habits that will help make those weight loss resolutions stick. Freeman will help attendees get their careers back on track with her leadership discussion that covers how to bring your “A Game” to work every day, how to uproot sources of stress and feelings of overwhelm and how to shift the energy of conversations or negotiations to recover power and strengthen influence. Bauer will share her four step process for developing a unique personal brand and discuss how to message that brand in public to influence what others will know, recall, and repeat about you.
The cost for the three hour workshop is $45 and includes buffet breakfast, workshop materials and a copy of Susan Freeman’s book, Step Up Now: 21 Powerful Principles for People who Influence Others. Seating is limited. Registration will close on January 16.
