TAMPA FLA. – Arthur Rutenberg Homes’ 3,807-square-foot Capri model home – with a covered lanai, cabana and a master-suite wing – has opened in Ladera, a 220-acre lakefront community off Van Dyke Road in northern Hillsborough County.
Built by Custom Craft Homes – an award-winning independent franchise of Arthur Rutenberg Homes – the Capri is a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath executive design with a three-car garage and bonus room. The model – 1407 Merry Water Drive, Lutz, Fla. – is base-priced at $639,100 including homesite, says Ernie Lashlee, building company president.
After crossing the home’s motor court and covered entry with double doors, guests will be in a foyer flanked to one side by a formal dining room with a 12-foot ceiling. To the other side of the foyer is a short hallway to the home’s den and a powder bath.
Just beyond the foyer is the 16-by-17-foot formal living room featuring 12 feet of 8-foot-high sliding glass doors that open to the covered lanai and broad pool deck.
To one side of living room is private entrance to the master-suite wing. Just inside
is a central hall leading to the 15-by-22-foot master bedroom in one direction, and the master bath in the other. This hall is flanked by his-and-her walk-in closets and ends at the bath, featuring separate vanities, a round garden tub and walk-in shower.
The master bedroom provides direct access to the pool, spa and screened lanai, which wraps around the rear of the home to the cabana. The 17-by-25-foot leisure room – accessible from the lanai and cabana – is crowned by an 11-foot-4-inch recessed ceiling.
Adjoining the leisure room is a glass-walled breakfast area and an island kitchen with breakfast bar and deep walk-in pantry. A butler’s pantry connects the kitchen to the dining room and features a wet bar that serves the living room.
Just off the kitchen is a hobby/utility room with large storage cabinets. Nearby is a guest suite with private bath, while another bath and two more bedrooms – each with a walk-in closet – are accessible from the leisure room. At the far end of the leisure room is a 13-by-14-foot bonus room at the rear of the home.
The furnished model home center at Ladera is open Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday noon-5 p.m.
