ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (December 10, 2012) – CREW Tampa Bay (Commercial Real Estate Women) is pleased to announce the winners of its first CREW Tampa Bay Excellence Awards. The awards were presented at an elegant sold-out affair at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club in downtown St. Petersburg on December 4.
The awards honored some of the best and brightest in the Tampa Bay area commercial real estate industry, while taking a wide-ranging approach to award classifications. Categories included such awards as Civic Leader of the Year and LEED Excellence, in addition to more traditional awards including Lease of the Year and honors for excellence in construction and architecture.
Nominations were generated by CREW members and analyzed by a panel of local real estate and development experts and respected civic leaders, who selected the winners. The awards themselves were designed and commissioned by a local artist, Sean Pasco, making the award something that industry professionals will value in years to come.
“We were extremely pleased with the quality of the applicants, which led in turn to high-quality winners that reflect the excellence of our industry locally,” said CREW Tampa Bay President Julia Rettig. “I believe we have raised the bar and this is the start of an annual tradition that we expect to be eagerly anticipated by real estate professionals around the area going forward.”
