New Port Richey —The Alzheimer’s Family Organization held our 12th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on November 10, 2012 at Seven Springs Golf Club, 3535 Trophy Blvd., New Port Richey. Registration began at 6:30 AM, with an 8:00 AM Shotgun Start. The event consisted of 18 Holes of Golf/Four Person Scramble and included a pancake breakfast provided by IHOP – Trinity and lunch provided by Argento’s Italian Bistro. Prizes were awarded for the Top 3 Teams, Longest Drive and Closest to Pin.
Over $26,000 was raised to provide services for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and their families in the Pasco County area.

The Alzheimer’s Family Organization services the central Florida area, including Citrus, Hernando, northern Hillsborough, Lake, Pasco, northern Pinellas and Sumter Counties. The Florida Department of Elder Affairs has determined this region has over 100,000 Alzheimer’s disease sufferers.
