Strong Increase in Activity during 3rd Quarter Alone with 200,000 Sq. Ft. of Leasing Recorded
Tampa, Fla. (December 4, 2012) – RMC Property Group (RMC) is pleased to announce that during the months from January through November 2012, the company concluded total leasing volume of 470,000 sq. ft. across its portfolio. Approximately 200,000 sq. ft. of that volume was leased during the third quarter. Notable deals recently concluded by RMC include the following:
- TJX Companies leased 24,000 sq. ft. at Summerfield Crossing in Riverview for a new Marshall’s that will be developed adjacent to the existing Bealls Department Store.
- Famous Tate Appliances leased 11,238 sq. ft. at Village Market of Wesley Chapel for their upcoming expansion into East Pasco County.
- Barnes & Noble renewed their 20,520 sq. ft. lease at Tampa Commons at Dale Mabry Highway and Kennedy Boulevard in Tampa.
- Beauty Max renewed their lease of 8,865 sq. ft. and expanded by another 11,720 sq. ft. at Gainesville Shopping Center. Rainbow Fashions also leased 6,000 sq. ft. in the center.
- Big Lots renewed their lease of 21,580 sq. ft. at Clearwater Plaza in Clearwater and expanded into another 5,000 sq. ft.
