Nov. 30, 2012 / Sarasota, Fla. — Raul Elizalde, president and chief investment officer of Sarasota-based investment advisory firm Path Financial, has been named Chair of the Asset Management Committee for the State College of Florida Foundation.
Elizalde will serve a two-year term as Chair for the Asset Management Committee, which manages approximately $40 million in assets. The Committee develops an investment strategy for Foundation assets, and recommends actions and policies to the board of directors regarding the expenditure and oversight of funds.
Over the past year, Elizalde’s investing insights have been published on the financial websites of Motley Fool, Morningstar and Yahoo! Finance. He was featured among the country’s most respected and innovative money managers in Max Isaacman’s 2012 book, “Winning with ETF Strategies: Top Asset Managers Share Their Methods for Beating the Market,” published by Financial Times Press.
