This holiday season, the Westfield Southgate Mall and Gulf Coast Community Foundation have partnered with Kobernick-Anchin and several other local organizations to encourage people to “Give With Purpose” during its annual holiday fundraising campaign.
From December 1st – 25th, shoppers who spend $200 in same-day purchases at Southgate Mall will be eligible to receive a $25 Holiday Give Card redeemable at the local fundraising website GulfCoastGives.org.
The fundraising site features local campaigns in need of funding, including a link to Kobernick-Anchin’s Art Therapy Project — a program which has proven to have tremendous benefits to seniors and has increasingly become a therapeutic method for enhancing health and well-being. Kobernick’s project page can be found on the site by searching “Give With Purpose to KobernickAnchin”.
“We are honored to have been chosen to participate in this year’s campaign and appreciate everything Gulf Coast Community Foundation does to support us and the community,” said Kobernick-Anchin CEO Darlene Arbeit.
Kobernick is also participating in the “Give With Purpose” Tree Decorating Contest and has installed a life-sized “Menorah Tree of Life” in front of the Express clothing store in Southgate.
Beginning Nov. 23rd, shoppers will be able to vote for their favorite tree from among the participating organizations at a ballot box located between Williams-Sonoma and Banana Republic. The organization that receives the most votes will be eligible to win $1,500.
