(SARASOTA, Fla) ABWA Sunrise is offering one-of-a-kind ornaments at Donate, Decorate, and Celebrate, the chapter’s Holiday Gala luncheon on December 5, 2012, at the Sarasota Yacht Club.
Decorated by artists, members and friends, the ornaments will be sold, individually or in collections, or auctioned to raise funds for women’s scholarships and professional development programs. The event includes a gift for each attendee, a silent auction, and an opportunity to have a picture taken with Santa.
ABWA Sunrise (www.abwasunrise.org) has awarded over $104,000 in scholarships since 2004. Working through the Community Foundation of Sarasota, the scholarship committee reviews applications from traditional and nontraditional students and selects recipients in two cycles each year.
Ticket price is $45 until November 30; after then, the cost is $55. Reservations and payments can be made at www.abwasunriseholidaygala.com.
