Tampa, Fla. – (November 19, 2012) – University Area Community Development Corporation, Inc. (UACDC) has strengthened its core management team with the promotion of Sarah Combs to Chief Operating Officer and the appointment of William “Bill” Seiter as Director of Finance and Human Resources.

With more than 10 years in the non-profit sector, Combs’ experience spans nearly every facet of the UACDC’s programs and services. She previously served as Chief Program and Marketing Officer managing the nearly $5 million Prodigy program and will continue to oversee all programming. For a period of six months, she was appointed Interim Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer in 2011. The COO position is new to the UACDC. Prior to joining the UACDC in 2010, she was the Area Director for the Best Buddies Tampa Bay Region, where she led statewide and local development strategies focusing on program and donor development functions including the management of government funding.
Seiter is a Certified Public Accountant with an MBA and a diverse background in public and private accounting. He previously served as Director of Finance with The Bronx Charter School for Children in New York. He is responsible for day-to-day operations of the UACDC, its financial accounting and reporting, policies and procedures and human resources. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
