Discount tickets for Cirque Italia at MOSI for the USF community and Facebook fans
TAMPA, Fla. (Nov. 16, 2012) – Always looking for creative ways to boost interest in and gain support for the University of South Florida’s Italian Program, Associate Professor Patrizia La Trecchia has enlisted Cirque Italia in her efforts.
A special discount to Cirque Italia’s Act XII, now at MOSI is being offered to USF students, faculty and staff as well as members of the public who go through the Italian Program’s Facebook page.
Students who produce a valid USF ID at the box office pay $10 for regular seating and $20 for experiential seating. Faculty and staff members with their IDs pay $20 at the box office for regular seating or $30 for experiential row seating. Clicking “like” on www.facebook.com/usfitalianprogram will get $20 regular seating ticket discount and $30 experiential seating ticket discount to members of the community. Online sales are excluded. The offer covers performances through Dec. 2.
“The producers of Cirque Italia are committed to supporting the USF Italian Program and this is a truly delightful introduction to European-style circus entertainment in one of its most spectacular forms,” said La Trecchia, who teaches in the Department of World Languages. “So having fun right across the street from campus will not only be good for all of our hard-working friends and colleagues but it will be good for the program as well.”
